Family martial arts · Since 1965
Karate for kids, teens and adults at 15 Red Dragon locations across California. Goal setting, focus, fitness and real self-defense. Your first 8 lessons are on us.
What changes
Karate is how we teach it. What your kid takes home is bigger.
Every belt is a goal they set, work for and earn. They learn how goals actually get reached.
Standing tall, speaking up, looking people in the eye. It shows up at school, not only on the mat.
A real workout that burns off energy and stress, for kids and for parents who train too.
How to walk away from trouble, and how to protect themselves when they can't.
Programs
Every program is age specific, so students train with people at their stage and work on what matters for it.
Our story
Lou Casamassa opened Red Dragon Karate in 1965. It's still family-owned, there are now 15 locations, and the mission hasn't changed: building tomorrow's leaders today.
